Take a 20,000-SKU catalogue online without re-typing it

Bulk import by CSV or barcode, keep stock straight across branches, and hand the picking floor a barcode-driven app instead of a printed list.

  • Barcode lookup

Sound familiar?

  • "We have 18,000 items across three branches and the idea of entering them by hand made us give up on going online for two years."

  • "Stock says in stock online, but the branch sold the last unit an hour ago. Customers cancel, we apologise."

  • "VAT is inclusive on groceries and exclusive on electronics in the same basket, and our old system could not tell the difference."

How it works

From order to doorstep

  1. 1

    Import the catalogue

CSV or barcode import as a background job with live progress, tuned for 20k+ items.

  2. 2

    Set tax categories

Inclusive or exclusive VAT per product category, plus separate tax for delivery and shop charges.

  3. 3

    Sync every branch

Multi-branch stock so what is on the shelf is what is on the site.

  4. 4

    Pick and deliver

Slot-based delivery with a barcode picker app instead of a paper pick list.

Catalogue at scale

Twenty thousand SKUs, one background job

CSV and barcode import run as background jobs with live progress, built for catalogues in the tens of thousands. Update price, images, translations or external IDs by barcode later, without re-uploading the whole file.

  • Background import jobs with live progress, not a frozen page
  • Update by barcode: price, images, translations, external IDs
  • Category import and export including the full tree

Multi-branch operations

One catalogue, correct stock per branch

A master catalogue with per-branch stock counts means what a customer sees online reflects what that specific branch actually has — and out-of-stock accounting happens at the moment of picking, not a nightly batch job.

  • Per-branch stock, positions and settings
  • Out-of-stock quantity accounted at pick time
  • Hide or disable out-of-stock items automatically
  • A pickup store at each branch, with stock kept per location

“Getting our full catalogue online used to be the blocker. The barcode import did in a week what we had budgeted three months for.”

vs a POS, a separate webstore and a picking sheet

Many supermarkets run a POS in-store, a bolt-on webstore, and a printed pick list — three sources of truth for one stock count.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does importing 20,000 products actually take?
It runs as a background job with a live progress bar, so it does not block the back office — most catalogues of that size finish inside a day.
Can we update prices by barcode without a full re-import?
Yes — price, images, translations and external IDs can all be updated by barcode on their own.
Does stock stay accurate across multiple branches?
Yes. Each branch holds its own stock count under the master catalogue, and out-of-stock accounting happens at the moment a picker marks an item, not on a delay.
Can VAT differ between grocery and non-grocery items?
Yes — tax categories are set per product, with inclusive or exclusive handling and separate categories for delivery and shop charges.
Can pickers work from a barcode scanner instead of a printed list?
Yes — the picker app supports barcode scan-to-pick across the whole order, with alternates surfaced automatically when something is missing.
Do all branches share the same product catalogue?
Yes, with per-branch overrides for stock, pricing and visibility where you need them.
