App 4 of 4 — delivery app

From the shop counter to the customer’s door

Drivers get their assigned runs with route and distance, track live on GPS, take payment at the door in whatever form the customer has, and hand back a cash total that matches the shop ledger at the end of the shift.

Runs

Assigned runs, route and distance

Each driver sees only what is assigned to them — the run order, the route and the distance to cover — instead of a shared list they have to sort out among themselves.

  • Runs assigned per driver, not a shared open list
  • Route and distance shown before setting off
  • Bulk actions across multiple orders in one run

Tracking

Live GPS, visible to the shop and the customer

The shop sees where every driver is in real time, and distance-matrix routing keeps the assignment sensible as new orders come in through the day.

  • Live GPS position shared with the shop
  • Distance-matrix routing for sensible assignment
  • Push notifications for new and updated runs

Payment at the door

Switch payment method and capture it on the spot

A driver can switch an order to cash on delivery or card on delivery, and capture the payment on a physical terminal — the order and the payment stay in step, not on two separate pieces of paper.

  • Switch an order to cash on delivery or card on delivery
  • Capture payment on a physical payment terminal
  • Modify the order at the door, with a preview before confirming

Proof & reconciliation

Proof of delivery, then a cash total that actually matches

Every drop captures proof of delivery, and at the end of the shift the driver’s cash collections reconcile directly against the shop ledger — no separate spreadsheet, no end-of-day guesswork.

  • Proof of delivery captured per order
  • End-of-shift cash reconciliation against the shop ledger
  • Collection logs and collect-from-agent for shop managers

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can a driver change how an order is paid for at the door?
Yes. A driver can switch an order to cash on delivery or card on delivery and capture the payment on a terminal, with any order change previewed before it is confirmed.
How does cash reconciliation actually work?
Every cash collection a driver makes is logged against the order. At the end of the shift, the total the driver hands over is checked against the shop ledger, with a collection log the shop manager can review.
Does the driver see a map and a suggested route?
Yes. Each run shows the route and distance, with distance-matrix routing keeping assignments sensible as new orders come in.
