Barcode scan-to-pick for accurate order fulfilment
Scanning a barcode confirms every line item against actual shelf stock, either one item at a time or in a single scan-all pass through the whole order, which is what keeps mispicks out of a basket instead of catching them after the customer complains.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is barcode picking the same feature as the picker app?
Barcode scan-to-pick is one capability inside the picker app — the picker app also covers the order queue, substitutions and driver assignment around it.
Do I need dedicated scanner hardware?
No, the phone camera scans barcodes directly, though a paired Bluetooth or USB barcode scanner works too for higher picking volumes.
What happens if a picker scans the wrong item?
The scan is rejected immediately because it does not match the expected order line, which is what stops a mispick before it is packed rather than after.
