Quick Commerce

Comparison

Quick Commerce vs Zid

Zid’s pricing page lists no delivery slots, and we found no built-in picker or driver app. That grocery delivery work is what Quick Commerce is built for, with capacity slots, express delivery and COD OTP on every plan and your own choice of payment gateway. Zid is Saudi-built and Arabic-native, and it is strong where this page says so.

Choose Quick Commerce if you are

Choose Zid if you are

Merchants who want a free plan, a POS app included in the plan, no product cap or reach through the Mazeed marketplace, or who ship nationwide by courier.

Monthly cost

What the same plan costs on Zid

Each Quick Commerce plan against the Zid plan and apps a grocer would add for tax invoices, slots, COD checks and dispatch. These are estimates: Zid’s app market couldn’t be priced.

  • Starter

    Quick Commerce
    SAR 129
    Zid + apps (est.)
    ≈ SAR 430–610

Growth SAR 299 (tax and invoice settings start here) · ZATCA Phase 2 app, which Zid appears to need, 50–150 (est.) · slot and review apps 80–160 (est.)

  • Growth

    Quick Commerce
    SAR 299
    Zid + apps (est.)
    ≈ SAR 650–1,100

Growth SAR 299 · apps for slots, reviews, COD checks, loyalty, WhatsApp cart recovery and driver dispatch 350–800 (est.)

  • Scale

    Quick Commerce
    SAR 699
    Zid + apps (est.)
    Not published

Zid Professional is priced on request, so no total can be worked out.

Estimate as of Sep 2026, from list prices, monthly billing, excluding VAT.

  • On Rise (SAR 99), without tax and invoice settings, the Starter-equivalent stack comes to about SAR 230–360.
  • Plan prices are from zid.sa. Lines marked (est.) are estimates, because Zid’s app market couldn’t be priced.
  • Zid includes a POS app on every plan, and payment processing (Zid Pay) is left out on both sides.

Payments: your choice of gateway, not a promise of lower fees

Zid takes no platform commission. It earns through Zid Pay, and on the Growth plan a mada payment costs 1% + SAR 1, according to Zid’s help centre.

That is a low mada rate. At list rates, a direct gateway can cost a mada-heavy store more than Zid Pay, so we don’t claim lower payment fees than Zid.

What we offer is choice: connect the gateway you’ve negotiated with, keep your own settlement terms and instalment contracts, and pay no platform transaction fee on top.

Where they win

Where Zid genuinely wins

A POS on every plan, and a free plan

Zid includes a POS app on every plan, including Starter, which is free for life. Our POS is a paid add-on, priced per register, so if you want a till included in the plan, Zid is ahead.

No product cap, and the Mazeed marketplace

Every Zid plan has unlimited products, orders and customers, and puts your products in front of the Mazeed marketplace, which Zid says reaches 5 million customers.

A low mada rate and strong offers

Zid Pay charges 1% + SAR 1 for mada on Growth, and Zid runs strong offers: in September 2026 it gave a free year on annual plans for National Day.

Where we win

Where Quick Commerce wins

Grocery delivery, built in

Delivery slots with capacity limits and express delivery come with every plan. Zid’s pricing page lists no slots, so on Zid they mean an extra app or custom work.

Picker and driver apps from Growth

Growth includes a picker app with barcode picking and customer-approved substitutions, and a driver app with live GPS and end-of-shift cash reconciliation. We found neither built into Zid.

Tax invoices and COD checks from the first plan

ZATCA e-invoicing (Phase 1 QR; Phase 2 integration) and COD OTP come with every plan, including Starter. On Zid, tax and invoice settings start on Growth, and Phase 2 appears to need an app such as InvoiceQ.

Moving from Zid

Export your products and customers from Zid and bring them in through our bulk import, running both stores side by side until the new one is checked. Our onboarding and migration service moves your catalogue, customers and order history for you. It is a one-time add-on on Starter and Growth and included on Scale.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Zid has a free plan and includes a POS. Why pay more?
If a free plan or a POS included in the plan is what you need, Zid is the better fit, and we’d say so. Our POS is a paid add-on. Where we earn our SAR 129 is grocery operations: capacity slots, express delivery, COD OTP and ZATCA e-invoicing on every plan, and picker and driver apps from Growth. On Zid, tax settings start on Growth at SAR 299, and we estimate a Starter-equivalent stack at SAR 430–610 a month (Sep 2026, list prices, monthly billing, excluding VAT; app lines estimated).
Are your payment fees lower than Zid Pay?
Not necessarily. Zid Pay’s mada rate on Growth (1% + SAR 1) is low, and a direct gateway at list rates can cost more. We charge no platform transaction fee, and what you gain is choice of gateway, settlement terms and instalment contracts, not a guaranteed saving.
Where does your ZATCA e-invoicing stand?
Phase 1 QR invoices are live on every plan. Our Phase 2 integration is built and is in validation with ZATCA, and we won't describe it as more than that until the validation is done. On Zid, tax and invoice settings start on Growth, and Phase 2 invoices appear to need an app such as InvoiceQ.
Is your Arabic as strong as Zid’s?
Zid is Arabic-native, and we don’t claim an edge there. Our storefront also runs Arabic and English, right to left, on every plan, on the same catalogue.
Why is Starter limited to 2,000 products?
Every plan has limits: 2,000 products on Starter, 10,000 on Growth and 50,000 on Scale, with Enterprise set by contract. Locations follow the same ladder (1, 1 and 3), and extra locations can be added on Scale, up to 53 in total. Zid has no product cap on any plan, which is a fair point in its favour. When your catalogue outgrows a plan, moving to the next plan is the path.
I ship nationwide by courier. Is Quick Commerce right for me?
It can be: courier shipping, returns and exchanges come with every plan. But our strongest fit is a shop that picks and delivers its own orders on slots. A catalogue that only ships by courier may find Zid a closer match.
