Live courier shipping rates at checkout

Live rates price shipping at checkout from your own courier account, using the parcel’s weight and size and the customer’s address, so you stop guessing a flat fee. Aramex, DHL Express, Delhivery and Shiprocket are supported. You choose which services to show, add a markup and rounding, and set a fixed fallback price for when a courier does not answer. Live rates come with Growth and above.

How it works

How it works

  1. 1

    Connect your courier

Use your own Aramex, DHL Express, Delhivery or Shiprocket account.

  2. 2

    Turn a zone rate live

A live rate is a rate on a shipping zone, so your zones, cash on delivery and free-shipping rules keep working.

  3. 3

    Customer sees the real price

Checkout shows the cheapest, the fastest or several services, with the delivery date where the courier gives one.

  4. 4

    Ship what was sold

The service the customer picked is the one booked when you ship, packed into the cartons you set up.

Price rulesMarkup as a percentage or a fixed amount, rounding, and a minimum and maximum price.
When the courier is downCharge a fixed fallback price (the default), hide the option, or block checkout. Checkout is never left waiting.
Free shippingYour free-shipping threshold still wins over the live price.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which plan includes live rates?
Growth and above.
Do I need my own courier account?
Yes. Rates come from your account with the courier, at the prices you have agreed with them.
What if the price changes after the customer checks out?
The price shown at checkout is locked with the order. If a quote has expired before the customer pays, checkout refreshes it and shows the new price first.
Does this work in the mobile apps too?
For now it runs on the online store. The customer apps have not been updated for it yet, so shoppers using the app will not see it until they are.
