Payments
Cash on Delivery
The built-in option to pay in cash, or by card on a driver-carried terminal, at the moment of delivery.
What it does here
Cash on Delivery inside Quick Commerce
No third-party account needed — it is a checkout setting. The delivery app then records what was collected against the order and rolls it into end-of-shift cash reconciliation.
Data flow
What data moves, and where
- 1The order is placed with payment method set to cash or card on delivery, no gateway call is made.
- 2The driver can switch it to card-on-delivery at the door using a paired payment terminal.
- 3What was collected is logged against the order and reconciled to the shop ledger at shift end.
