Payments

Stripe

A global payment processor covering cards and a wide set of local payment methods.

What it does here

Stripe inside Quick Commerce

The one gateway on this platform with saved-card storage and setup intents, so a returning customer can check out without re-entering card details, and subscriptions or repeat orders can charge a card on file.

Data flow

What data moves, and where

  1. 1Checkout creates a Stripe payment or setup intent with the order amount and currency.
  2. 2Card entry happens on Stripe's hosted checkout page; a token, not the card number, reaches your order.
  3. 3A webhook confirms the charge, marks the order paid and, if consented, saves the card for next time.

How to connect

Connecting Stripe

  1. 1

    Get Stripe credentials

Open a merchant account with Stripe and generate its API or merchant keys.

  2. 2

Add it in the back office

Settings → Payments → enable Stripe and paste the keys in test mode first.

  3. 3

    Test a transaction

Place a sandbox order and confirm the callback marks it paid and notifies the shop.

  4. 4

    Go live

Switch to live keys — Stripe appears at checkout immediately, no redeploy needed.
