Payments
UPI
India's Unified Payments Interface — instant bank-to-bank transfer, usually paid by scanning a QR code.
What it does here
UPI inside Quick Commerce
Shows a UPI QR code at checkout for Indian customers, who confirm the payment from their own banking app in seconds.
Data flow
What data moves, and where
- 1A UPI payment request is generated for the order amount and rendered as a QR code at checkout.
- 2The customer scans it and approves the transfer inside their banking app — no card details are involved.
- 3A confirmation callback marks the order paid within moments of approval.
How to connect
Connecting UPI
- 1
Get UPI credentials
Open a merchant account with UPI and generate its API or merchant keys.
- 2
Add it in the back office
Settings → Payments → enable UPI and paste the keys in test mode first.
- 3
Test a transaction
Place a sandbox order and confirm the callback marks it paid and notifies the shop.
- 4
Go live
Switch to live keys — UPI appears at checkout immediately, no redeploy needed.
