Search
Typesense
An open-source, typo-tolerant search engine with vector/semantic search support.
What it does here
Typesense inside Quick Commerce
The top tier of the platform’s three-tier search: MySQL search, then stemming-and-intent smart search, then Typesense-powered semantic/hybrid search with multilingual vectors — each degrading safely to the tier below if unavailable.
Data flow
What data moves, and where
- 1Your catalogue indexes into Typesense with multilingual embeddings for Arabic and English.
- 2A shopper query is matched by meaning as well as by keyword, tolerant of typos and synonyms.
- 3If Typesense is unreachable, search degrades to the smart-search tier automatically, never a blank page.
