Payments
AFS
Arab Financial Services, a Bahrain-based payment processor serving banks across the Gulf.
What it does here
AFS inside Quick Commerce
Adds a hosted checkout route for shops whose acquiring bank settles through AFS, common across several GCC markets.
Data flow
What data moves, and where
- 1Order total, currency and a reference are sent to AFS when the shopper confirms checkout.
- 2AFS hosts the payment page — card details are entered there, never on your server.
- 3A signed callback confirms the payment, marks the order paid and releases it to the picker queue.
How to connect
Connecting AFS
- 1
Get AFS credentials
Open a merchant account with AFS and generate its API or merchant keys.
- 2
Add it in the back office
Settings → Payments → enable AFS and paste the keys in test mode first.
- 3
Test a transaction
Place a sandbox order and confirm the callback marks it paid and notifies the shop.
- 4
Go live
Switch to live keys — AFS appears at checkout immediately, no redeploy needed.
